He just answered that it didn't, without even raising an eyebrow at the mention of the scrapped Pokemon.
Gamefreak really, really doesn't seem to care about beta Pokemon one way or the other. Just like when they casually revealed a bunch of them for that one bio manga without any fanfare. I think the only reason more haven't been public revealed isn't because they're intentionally keeping them secret, but because they really care enough to bother revealing them. Hell, they're usually pretty open about discussing scrapped ideas on the rare occasion it comes up.
