Alakazam is proving to be a horrible addition to my team as it has missed every hypnosis ive ever tried to use, and immediately dies to crunch. Ive failed to catch 3 or 4 alpha mon now because alakazam misses the hypnosis EVERY SINGLE TIME

Bro just slap the alpha pokemon with some sticky globs until its stunned, walk around and throw a fucking pokeball at its back.

There's literally no reason to fight a wild pokemon except for the pokedex entries.

Its a crafting item, if you ain't got the recipe yet just use mudballs or spoiled apricots.

Yes they do you just gotta throw a couple at them, like 3 or 6 of the sticky globs. I imagine a lot more of the spoiled apricots I never bothered to count.

Its a purchasable recipe but I don't remember when its added to the list.

I just found the third point and tried to catch a torterra with the Leaden ball,it managed to break out of the combo and killed itself off of my blissey using wood hammer.

I have not lost a shinymon yet but you are absolutely right, I should be saving more

Apologies for double posting at you but is there any really good guides to look at? Mostly spoiler free guides on which pokeball to use on what and some neat tips and tricks? Ive already figured out how to get to the island in the mirelands.

dont battle it at all. You chuck shit at it until its discombobulated. Then throw a ball at its back. Learn the timing of ball breaks. you want a ball to be flying at the pokemon as soon as it breaks out of the ball if it does. You can keep doing this until the pokemon stays in the ball. If you aggro accidentally, throw more shit or just run out of range then repeat
