>>50189946it's funny because despite all the attempts to slander johto over the past year and a half, in the eyes of normies and fans alike, gs still remains as tajiri's magnum opus, and hgss still remains the peak of pokemon. it's just nugen "fans" (gen 5 - 8) who act as contrarian as possible because they know their favourite (aka the game they started with) game will never ever ever stand up to the legacy and impact johto left, not just for the pokemon franchise, but for gaming as a whole. gsc set the golden standard for what a video game sequel should be, and hgss blew other games at the time out the water with the sheer amount of content and polish it had.
