The primary color is a pulpy, fleshy human skin on something that is too close to being human yet very definitely not human, leading to it looking disgusting and naked. The body being literally naked beyond a tiny patch of fur very obviously designed to look like a naked apron (and two flat, lifeless looking random scarves that do nothing but dangle there and serve no purpose beyond "hey look leaves, that means it's grass type!" like a lot of newer starters have fallen into) only highlights this, making it look like a naked person in a porno costume rather than an actual pokemon. The hands and feet combined with this extremely fleshy color also look unnatural and gross to look at.
The head looks like a copy/paste of Deerling with tiny edits made to it, and doesn't look like it was actually original in the first place. But combined with the prior design flaws and poses it's always drawn in it just highlights how gross the whole thing is, despite it's head not even really looking like a deer it still comes off as generic yet ugly at the same time, and is filled with flat simple shapes that look like it got smashed together in paint in a couple of seconds. The fact the head is often enlarged even further in art of it only serves to make it even worse.
Combined with the situations it's always brought up in and it comes off as something designed specifically just for people to masturbate too rather than being actually good or interesting and tries too hard to be human but fails because it can't help but stick to the faint deer base, creating something that looks like a repulsive half-bred freak.
I mean "(x) looks like a fursuit" gets thrown around a lot to new Pokemon but this thing is literally just a naked person in an apron with a weird tumorous deer-head.
