More like how low the series has fallen since SM. You don't have to consider them great but PLA is definitely better than XY or ORAS. That's unfortunately something that should be celebrated unless you want more garbage like everything else since then.

lmao play the damn games dude, i've replayed SS, Crystal, and Gold in the last 2 years and my team was a solid 5-10 BELOW the late game enemies, and guess what? I still beat them just fine

It may have poor graphical quality and it may be a LITTLE bare bones but goddammit it absolutely NAILED the core gameplay for me, it made basically all the changes I wanted and thought we’d never get
