Doesn't this logic bend to the idea that "Karate King" is exclusively male terminology, thereby meaning gender norms are a construct they're still acknowledging rather than disregarding and dismantling?
Wouldn't this logic also mean that, due to the fact the Elite Four are known as the "Four Heavly Kings" in Japan, that Lorelei, Agatha, Karen, Phoebe, Glacia, Bertha, Shauntal, Caitlin, Malva, Drasna, Olivia, Acerola and Kahili are all trans, and all trans because of gender norm definitions rather than any proper reason for them to be trans?
