>muh straight path routeI'm absolutely fine with this as long as there is a way to go off the beaten path and explore like the desert resort. Making encountering trainers optional for those who want to grind or want to avoid the exp for a harder challenge.
Gen 5 may have its problems, but my question is: if it sold so poorly and wasn't well received then why did gen 6 just expand on these existing problems?
