Well, what can you really do? Does anyone have creative and original Steel attack ideas? They're hard to come up with. There's not a lot to work with with steel thematically especially for special attacks

Clearly creative support moves ain't what OP is lookin for, but those be pretty good sounding. Especially jackhammer that just sounds fun for early-mid like fury cutter in gen 2.

But yeah a special attack for steel just hard to think about, Flash Cannon and Steel Beam is already kinda of a reach. Only thing I can think of is some moves based on Plasma.

Magnet Bomb should be a special move. Mirror Shot is a good idea but you can only do the "reflects light" thing so many times. I guess anything that launches a projectile like a spike cannon or a cannon ball could be special moves but hey would apply to very few steel mons

Frequencies arent used enough. Metal can be noisy
>Cymbal crash: a violent crashing sound rattles the opponent. Can be the 5pp fat dmg move. Chance to confuse the opponent (in place of burn like with Fire blast)
We can also look at different types of projectiles
>Railgun: “shoots a projectile of unfathomable speed at the opponent with pinpoint accuracy” another move that can have average/above average dmg., but is carried by its capabilities for STAB
>Cannon shot: “shoots a massive, albeit inaccurate projectile at the opponent” can absolutely erase targets with its fat damage- if it lands, that is

It’s really pretty hard making Steel attacks using Gamefreak’s parameters. Iron Head and Flash Cannon kinda cover us already.

Electricity and Magnetism are pretty strongly connected, but I can see the argument of it being steel instead.

Honestly they should just go all in and just say light = steel, since starts are just super hot metals anyway. Plasma in general that isn't electrical in nature can go there too then.

are you retarded, how does that make it not creative? raining meteors down from the sky is fucking unique regardless if it matches the type or not
steel beam looks the exact fucking same as flash cannon, yet its still treated as some ultimate steel-type move you can only get in the postgame. imagine if draco meteor was just a bigger dragon pulse, that's clearly the point being made
