Box Link, which I hated, although it doesn't heal Pokemon, has never made switching before a Legendary or in the field so convenient without running to a PC constantly. Move Tutors and Max Raids even let you select directly from the box, which helps make everyone feel less isolated.
Also never played a Gen VI game, but heard Amie started those retarded bonuses just for loving and having fun with your Pokemon.
