My ace would be a Hisuian Lilligant that appears and acts sweet, but is quite sinister and merciless in battle. Its whole schtick is to get your Pokemon to hold back on it because its so cute and innocent, and then it strikes to annihilate them with precision.

This is actually a really hard question for me. I'm a big fan of a lot of pokemon but it's hard for me to narrow down an exact favorite. I really like Dragon and Normal types in particular. But I think if I had a gun to my head and had to choose, I'd like a Normal type team with a Porygon-Z as my ace. I really, really like the Porygon line, and Porygon 2 has a special place in my heart after I used it to really destroy people with eviolite. Though the anime doesn't really use items, so I'd probably go for a Porygon-Z, just a really cool, strange pokemon with a lot of special attacking power.

A Shiny Kyurem that would go drunk itself every night at bar. He'd drink and drink together other ignorant people, vomiting conspiracy theories around a yellow plastic table. He'd join fights with other drunks, he'd cause a fuzz when feeling like so. When coming back home, we'd talk me about drunk stories and I would fight back when he screw everything to my side. My ace would be Emboar, born from the Unova region. He was a lonely Tepig when we first met and I chose him to be my first pokemon. He's a bit goofy and has his comedic moments but when he gets to battle, he's pretty menacing and durable. Naturally, Emboar is fiercely loyal and caring for both me and my team.

Chronically unimpressed, surgically precise, prone to rolling its eye at my antics.
Somewhat prideful, around other floating pokemon it will try to float slightly higher. Takes losses in battle personally and tries to not let it show.
An ardent teammate in double battles, will readily give up the spotlight for the sake of a win.
Has a soft spot for water types, admiring their laidback tendencies and floaty movements.
Loathes flying types, jealous of flying meat.

are we allowing things like mega stones? Because if so Mega Beedrill. Send out a beedrill and people just scoff at it since anyone with more than 3 badges can run over one of these things with no real effort. Then it mega evolves and tears apart whatever mon you have on the field or at least puts a huge dent in it before u-turning out.

figure it would be a good surprise ace Pokemon if nothing else.
