So, how is E19? Has it been enjoyable? How's the end game?

Loved the depressing atmosphere, where everything wasn't a perfect wonderland. I really appreciated that it broke away from the stupid 8 gym formula, and that you really needed to raise multiple pokemon to make it through the game.
The characters were largely shit, the field effects were interesting but mainly served to make gyms battles unique and "hard". The gauntlets where you had to fight multiple people weren't ideal at all. Hate all the dynamax/mega/special move shit that only a handful of pokemon actually have access to, I'd rather it remain unused.

I'll be sure to pick it up again when it's finished but are there other games similar to it, but better, worth checking out?

Wouldn't say there's a "good" ending, just playing the Truth ending will end up giving you more questions than answers. You're not locked out of the second ending if you do lose to Lin, a separate save file will be made during that whole Anna scene, should you have met the criteria for the Truth ending.

Wasn't aware of it, I'll be sure to check it out, thanks! As for Rejuvenation, isn't it made by the same people, just smaller scale and less ambitious or something? Are the characters and writing better as a whole? How about Desolation, Empire and Insurgency? They're seemingly brought up whenever anyone mentions one of these games.

yeah the characters in soulstones are fine and the stories wasn't that edgy like in rejuvenation and reborn also a lot more easier

There are 2 postgame endings. The Lin one and the Anna one. To get the Anna one you need to do specific choices but Lin is the basic option. There is no true ending, the Lin one gives more information about her character and the Anna one explains more her story.

Yes on the Lin route you have only one final fight with Arceus in it. And on the Anna route you have two separate fights one with the puppet Lin and another with child Lin and Arceus.

Not at all, each legendary group has a quest so a lot of things happen with characters in post game, we even get a conclusion of each character in the postgame endings. And Fern already got shit on in the Victory Road fight.

-Beat Solaris’ Garchomp at the volcano

The best way to do it is to do all the choices for Anna’s route and lose the last fight with Lin. You will have two save files one on Lin’s route because you didn’t beat the final fight on first try and another Anna creates for you that will give you Anna’s route. So you will only have to replay the postgame.
