>>50211513It's interesting to think that between Misty, May, Dawn, and Iris...Serena really had the least amount of reconnecting time with him.
1. Misty had the Hoenn Togepi episodes, and all of her Sun and Moon cameos to battle Ash.
2. May had the Wallance cup, where she was able to equally bond with Ash and Dawn.
3. Dawn had...all of her camoes. And high fives each time. And time to bond with Iris and Koharu.
4.Iris had her battle with Ash, and sent him an invite specifically to challenge him which allowed them to reconnect.
Serena got...literally the absolute minimum. The boat started sailing right after the fomalities. I'd say that's pretty telling on how much they want to shy away from it.
