The old versions of shiny gold were good, but they rebranded it as sigma X or some shit and introduced gen 4+ Pokemon, only for them to have no dex entries and all of them sharing Bulbasaur's cry.

Liquid crystal was the first hack I've ever played
Apparently there was a thread here and some people had complaints but it seemed to mostly follow just crystal version but for the gba from what I remember
