>>50221259>>50221268To add on to this, there was the unverified XY "original storyline" leak that talked about how the original XY was involved with a Fairy-types = aliens, as well as other stuff like alter-egos like Diantha being an alien leader or Sycamore being the good side of Lysandre (which I can believe since Sycamore has Xerneas's color scheme and Lysandre has Yveltal's), but the whole plot was scrapped for being "too weird".
But then SM came out with again, almost similar concepts to what was leaked, including a side quest where it turns out that Mr. Bonding was an alien or something, so that makes the XY stuff believable, and not too far-fetched that they were thinking of implementing the same ideas in SM but scrapped them again.
