>>50232211You're assuming there is a limited amount of content. If you have 20 hours of main game and then add 10 hours of posts game that is an improvement. Take gen 5 and 6 for example, BW and XY have roughly the same main game content but XY have less post-game, therefore BW have more content because they have more post-game. If you moved everything to the main game, BW would still have more because the larger post-game was added. The post-game has more potential for increased content because things like battle facilities only make sense there, so adding to the post game will always be an improvement when the main game is similar. In contrast, the main game is limited by the player's attention span and understanding of the game, which are finite.
If you had 2 games with 100 your main games but one had a 1000 hour post-game, that one would have more content. You can change the numbers in any way you want but it will always be the same.
