SWSH permanently ruined everyone’s enthusiasm in the series. Also if the leaks are real, this game is gonna be the worst mainline game yet, even worse than BW.

We only just got PLA and people are still hyped about that. Also very little information has been officially released yet about new Pokemon, gimmicks, etc.

Give it a few weeks, the hype will start building as more info is released (if the games aren't looking shit).

Many people in my local GO community got switch and lgpe to relive their childhood playing pokemon games and then pretty much everyone sold the switch off after swsh came out. I haven't played it myself but something about those games seriously deterred a big amount of people

Gimme something to be hype about.

So far we have 3 stills of the starters, and a very quick cut of some scenery.

The hype was there, it's gone till there is new shit to be hyped about. All we have are really shitty fake leaks, that can't be verified until there is more info out.
The fire is currently cinders, toss some fuel on it and we can get excited again.

Two of my coworkers, only guys there I really talk to, 32 and 34, pre-ordered both versions the day they were announced. One of them pre-ordered TWO COPIES of both versions, one each for him and one each for his six-year-old. Pokemon doesn't need anything but drones.
