I don't believe that laves anything essential out. But now I've done that, you've lost a lot of context and nuance. They all work fine with one word but the extra synonyms are there to fully convey to you guys the idea/vibe.
This is like how Grass Type is only one word, because it can only be one word, and there is no perfect word for it, and as a result you have mobs of people who cry foul when Grass Types aren't technically grasses or plants. That is missing the point by fixating on just one word, Grass is more like the Mother Nature Type. The general idea is more important than the specifics.
