>>50241105It all has to do with johtoddlers' arrogance. Genwunners don't post here, nobody seriously claims RBY, FRLG, or LGPE are the best game(s) in the mainline series. The region at its best is aggressively average, there is no reason to hate or to praise it.
On the other hand, Johto's games are constantly touted as the best, and naturally that puts it in the spotlight and under the microscope, where the many claims about its excellence start to show cracks and real flaws.
If that wasn't enough, johtoddlers, much like unovabortions, double down and insist there's nothing wrong here and insult you for pointing out those flaws, and go on ignoring them and insisting what's already been debunked, never to acknowledge in future discussions what's already been negatively established.
So that creates a hate train where clearly overrated games and its insufferable fanbase are reamed whenever as much possible.
This used to be unovabortions years back who were getting railed every other day, but the Gen V shilling is way more subdued in comparison to then, so that's why they nor anyone else are targeted as much.
