Why don't Pokémon fans embrace the weird side of Pokémon? I swear people here take inspiration as the only thing that matters for Pokémon or think the pokedex is lying or the whole controversy over shrinking. You people realize Pokémon are magical creatures, right? This is a series where a Pikachu can have a father who is a glalie and a grandfather who is a stonjourner and you people want to bring the real world in it and conceptualize it as anything resembling irl or creatures who can summon elemental powers at will yet you want to treat it as the real world.
