What is the future of this series? The hype just isn't the same anymore. Are we getting older /vp/? Has the age of corporations taking over the internet killed all hype from the good old days? Is the drop in quality slowly leading the series to fade into mediocrity like COD etc. ?
I miss getting on this board during gen 5 leak season. I miss awaiting the next game and the established patterns we had to look forward too. While some changes from the formula are great, I miss being a teenager when HGSS came out and imagining what the DPPT remakes would be like. Remember when remakes were the next big game in the series? Rather than that broken half assed mess of a game we got in BDSP. SWSH disappointed me but BDSP really just broke my heart.
Is the future of Pokemon about to take a drastic change from its formula and enter a new age that we dreamt of as kids? Or are we witnessing the death of Pokemon with the occasional good game (eg.PLA) which while good, just isn't the series we fell in love with.
What do you think will happen /vp/?
>Excuse the blog post, posting cool art here to keep the discussion going hopefully (provided the captcha doesn't piss me off too much).
