The only time i've ever used Pokemon Database was when I missclicked or was to lazy to scroll down.

Bulbapedia has the best, general shit about the pokemon.
Serebii is the best alternative pokedex.
And Smogon is the best for super fast general ideas of combat quality.

Serebii: Looks like utter shit, has mistakes that Joe refuses to fix because he's a retard, best news section of the bunch
Bulbapedia: Slow as shit, but has the most info presented in an easily digestible format
DB: Quick to load, not as much info as Bulbapedo but it has the essentials, looks much better than Serebii
All of them have their strengths and weaknesses, but the one I use least for actual info is the all-green eyesore.

No, you're not in the minority. It's a site /vp/ likes to shill because they don't like the owners of the other two and it's the closest thing there is to a third worthwhile Pokemon site. That's obvious by the fact that the first two are catch-all Pokemon information sites, while Pokemon Database is very specifically a Pokedex with in-game information. Database is better at its niche, but contains a fraction of the information. It's more akin to the various Pokemon TCG sites than Serebii or Bulbapedia.
