This still doesn't explain, in the second game, why his son gets a narc on you and his second in command going as far to regroup the team so daddy Giovanny returns to him.

how would this shit even "happen in the games"? You're going to see the tiny FRLG Red sprite run upwards to cut off Green as his walking animation starts and then you hear the bump sound effect when you bump into a wall or object as the Green sprite is shoved abruptly to the right and an exclamation point appears above it?
