In case you missed it, they promote Pokémon by-the-numbers. Reveal early in the year, to alert people there's a new game that year. Stay schtum about it until May/June ahead of its November release, to adhere to Nintendo's policy of only discussing games when they're 6 months out from release before beginning the promotional run-in in earnest with the first significant reveal trailer before E3's Treehouse segment expands on that with dev-commentary on early game events. We're still more than 6 months away from its release, thus Nintendo is focused on game releasing up to end of September currently.
