Ranked cups in game with BST limit. Making contests where looking cute matter such as cooking a pokemon and serving it into a dish. More games with NPC roles for them! Digital pet games.

That wouldn’t help. BST has very little to do with how good a Pokémon is. How those stats are distributed, along with other things like movepool and ability matter far more.

Your favorite, even if it's ostensibly a shitmon, will almost always have some niche that makes it useable, especially if it can synergize with a team the rest of whose members are powerful Pokemon.

Lopunny is a shitmon but it has Healing Wish, Switcheroo, U-Turn, etc.; tools you can use to support a team of better mons.

All hope isn't lost.

BST limits won't help and will make things worse because some Pokémon have a high BST like Aurorus and Lapras while having Game Freak's signature and effortless shit stat distribution and Pokémon like Azumarill having 410 BST would destroy the lower BST tiers because of Huge Power. It would be an even bigger balancing disaster than the games currently are right now.

So just treat it like it has a doubled attack stat because that's all that ability does. Autistic people are really dumb sometimes.

I have many mons I like, and a big portion of those are ok in multiplayer
Either way, I always fully train my bros with optimal movesets because I like going through battle towers with them.

I mostly have fun raising them, and I only really play against my friends, because I personally don't like being forced to use ugly mons just to rise in the ranks

that's not how math works, huge power gives the equivalent of 150 base attack on azumarill
if you don't know how EVs work why do you think you're in a position to know what rules would and wouldn't be good
