Hypno's a Psychic Wall and can use Hypnosis to buy time and minimize Alakazam's turns spent attacking and using Recover.
Alternatively for Psychic Walls, use Exeggutor. Put it to sleep with Sleep Powder, start sapping its HP with Leech Seed, pack Double Team for evasion bullshit, bring Egg Bomb as your physical attacking move for additional measure and then you can stall it to death, all without having to spend your valuable limited TMs.
Electric Types like Raichu, Magneton and Jolteon, or if you're really savvy and committed, Dragonite, can be sacced to paralyze Alakazam with Thunder Wave, rendering it highly susceptible to taking heavy blows from your physical attackers who SHOULD be outspeeding it now.
