typhlosion doesn't need earth power
focus blast already gets rock types, and STAB eruption does more damage against poison/electric types than earth power

I think it's weird that no one ever complains about pokemon missing out on thematic moves that aren't useful to its competitive viability. The worst part is that I know anyone doing this is shit at battling so it's even less relevant for them.

Drought would not make Typhlsion broken, it’s literally just Zard Y but balanced out by having a shit movepool and the smoggies had no problem letting Zard destroy OU in Gens 6 and 8. I doubt Drough Typhlosion would even be good in UU due to how broken the teir is now due due Gen8 power creep.
