Item usage moves around wildly based on what people were trying out, so the level-30 tokens they gave out only once would very quickly lose value if you didn't sink them into items that're consistently useful like Muscle Band, otherwise everything else will most likely land between 15-30 which is still a way to go for free players, though everything after 20 is diminishing returns anyway. Not too bad, but not the best.
Either, it's a Tencent game. No one should play purely by principle that it's obviously a predatory scam aimed at children and anyone who came over from League of Legends. And from a gameplay standpoint, it's shallow and lacks any depth that makes any MOBA engaging to play.. So as a result, it gets boring and repetitive very easily, with the only thing keeping you playing is daily chores that amount to limited-time items that only groom fomo inside those susceptible. It's just a shitty practice with nothing to gain out of it other than playing with your favorite Pokemon, assuming it even gets in.
Also, it's a personal pet peeve that they've been, as far as I'm aware, pretty radio silent about most things they suggested in their surveys. Lame.
