>>50297553I suppose it doesn't make much sense. If we fight the evil team before Elite 4 then we'd need to beat the champion/villain as well. If we fight them after the Elite 4, then we had already beaten the champion once, he should not be a threat. Unless our attempt at battling the Elite 4 is interrupted by the evil team for some reason and we go fight them immediately. Would need a good reason, but I can't think of anything. Team trying to take over the league? Nonsense, the champion pretty much controls the league anyways. Maybe the champion trying to take down the local league by manipulating the evil team from the shadows? Wouldn't that be too much of an N moment?
