I tried to make a gen 1 team in fact, and realized that no, the gen 1 Pokemon are just ugly, and the ones I like are either shit or axed.
Why does Urshifu get 100% crit, yet Sandslash doesn't? I ask that because surely you all remember gen 1 Sandslash critting every Slash? Apparently that wasn't "fair". But Urshifu with better stats in every area doing the same with multi-hit moves or through protect, that's fair for sure.
Joke developers. Everyone loves Sandslash. Wtf is Excadrill? Ugly moleman. Make Sandslash Great Again.
