Man, i still remember the elesa gym battle, i can't remember another time i was that mad at at a gym leader battle and pokemon in general aside ash loosing the kalos league.
I was so uspest because elesa is my favorite unova gym leader, and ash stupidity thanks to the writers was baffling.

Rewatching the first episodes is so funny because they were already building up for that Team Plasma arc that got cancelled after the 2011 Earthquake. The whole show is pretty a whole of nothing as a result

Some things in best wishes were super dumb or silly, like iris being a dragonfag, but not knowing charizard is a firetype, but i can give her the benefit of the doubt because at least to me, charizard not being a fire/dragon type aside his mega evolution will always be incredibly stupid to me.

Wasn't it the season where Team Rocket for once wasn't after Pikachu every episode and pulled off some heists? That was the only part I liked about it.

It was, until they cancelled the two-episodes special focusing on Team Plasma because of the earthquake. In a parallel world where the earthquake didn't happen the garbage seasons that followed wouldn't exist and the anime might actually have gotten better.
