>>50309001Eh. There is literally zero logic for fairy, ghost, or fighting to resist bug. They could all be neutral to bug and bug would still be below average as an attacking type. Maybe they could make rock resist bug though, this actually makes sense and would be a bit of a fair trade I guess, would buff rock defensively as well which is very needed.
That being said bug is just so fucking awful

Grass is weak to literally anything, you don't need to waste a moveslot just to hit grass super effectively.
Dark is an uncommon type and it's really easy to beat dark with way more useful fighting coverage instead of wasting a slot on a bug type attack
Psychic is an uncommon type and knock off is fucking ubiquitous and more useful to hit psychics with. If a pokemon has access to knock off bug is completely useless on your moveset.
Meanwhile RESISTED BY SEVEN FUCKING TYPES
