Washed out colors, everything looks grey
Lack of exploration, all the maps are corridors
New Pokemon are mostly rehash of olders ones but worse + most of them have boring types
Characters are annoying, especially the rivals (and don't get me started on their shitty battle theme)
Region has no identity, everything is very urban and boring and all the routes looks the same (the desert sucks too)
Story tries too hard to be good
Castelia City is terrible
Nothing to do after beating the main game
