If you were going to post in defense of XY's soundtrack, you could've at least posted the actual theme.

Anyway, the main problem with XY's soundtrack is the uninspired overworld tracks and their shitty VST instrumentation. It's not offensively bad and there's a good track here or there, but on the whole it's just...boring.

Main battle theme is nice. I don't like the gym leader theme, and the Elite 4 theme starts well but never goes anywhere. Diantha is nice too

The only overworld BGM I remember from XY is Victory Road (which is still a pretty generic victory road theme) and the snow city, which was actually nice and chill. Everything else was so bland I've forgotten it.

I still think that xy was too fucking underrated. Sun and moon was way more quantity before quality, and xy was quality befoe quantity.

Just look at the pss system. Clean simple accesible from anypoint anywhere and relays info to you passively.

The M/S friend plaza was slow, requerid you to go to an specific area then withstand several loading screens. And was bloated with useless minigames.
