Speaking as someone who hates the very concept of not being able to use some pokemon purely because they simply aren't coded into the game, I've come to terms as of late that it's just not remotely possible for us to have a Nat Dex ever again with Game Freak at the helm.

There are some consequences of their actions that need to be understood as to why that is. In brief:

>Game Freak constantly improves/demands improved models and animations

This reason alone... this ONE damnable reason alone is the sole reason that the Nat Dex will cease to be a thing anymore.

>need new models for new game
>must update models of old 'mons
>but also need new models for new 'mons
>on a release schedule to get them out in time
>cut corners by limiting what can be used
>new game comes out
>start making next new game
>return to point one and start again

It's going to be an infinite, perpetual cycle of updating/improving models and animations and as a direct fucking result, there will NEVER be a whole Nat Dex ever again.

I fucking hate this gay earth.
