You don't use any external device or anything, you are not altering anything in your cartridge at all. You just spot where your shiny lies and snipe it(if you are good enough to snipe it).

Did not alter game data therefore legit.
If your dynashit adventures Nihilego and mine from US get read by the memory girl, they will give legit results
If they get read by a hacker who uses pkhex or whatever, they will look fine
An injected one will have no memories even if you give it the correct trainer data etc and will be very easy for someone with a hacking program to spot it and reveal its non-legitness
