It would make it useable, but at this point powercreep is so bad it would need 3 special snowflake forms that could be used at once to even be usable in OU.

Only if you play Dungeons and Dragons or watched SNL asshole. By this same logic it should be self-evident why people call for Typhlosion to be Fire/Ground. It's a fucking volcano. And the second volcano Pokemon they did had this exact typing.
