Even if we had them, I was too young. was 3~5 for RBY, 5~7 for GSC, 7~10 for RSE, so if I saw them advertised in a magazine I would doubt I was getting anywhere
I only really got to pay attention to events by the time I was old enough to comfortably browse the internet but we didn't get most gen 5 stuff here.
Starting at gen 6 they started making more of an effort to distribute stuff where I live, and nowadays I'm happy to just get most events through internet distributions
