That said, a big part of the anti Fake Out counterplay comes from Dynamax right now, so once that's gone next gen an Inner Focus buff might not be that bad, unless the gen 9 gimmick also makes you immune to flinch. And yes, without any sort of anti Fake Out measures, Fake Out will become VERY common again; see Series 10 where everyone would run 2-3 Fake Outs on their team.
