Nothing will top the Gen II sprites. I'm a johtofag since I started with Crystal, but I am willing to admit some of the flaws that were corrected in later pokemon games, but nothing will ever top the trainer and pokemon sprites in gen II.

I mean that was when it all started to fall apart. Introducing abilities basically halved the amount of fun that was possible in a game. I do like Gen III though, the new mons were good.
