>>50355281DP Sinnoh was so weird. Why have some evolutions like Ambipom or Honchkrow before the credits, but then leave several of them for later?
Other than that, I liked all of these for different reasons.
>KantoFirst game, every monster is new. Dungeons usually have specific clusters of Pokemon tied to them. Seafoam is the best place for Water or Ice types, Power Plant for Electric, and the Mansion for Fire. Safari Zone has many powerful non-legendary Pokemon like Dratini, Rhyhorn, Chansey or Tauros. Legendaries are cool, optional monsters.
>JohtoOld Pokemon are the most dominant, and new Pokemon require a bit of extra effort to find. Day/Night encounters, Headbutt Trees, and Daily Swarms introduced, making the world feel more lifelike.
>HoennNew pokemon are now in the forefront, with old Pokemon becoming less common or tucked away in the Safari Zone.
>UnovaCompletely fresh roster for the first time since RBY. Everything is unfamiliar, set in a faraway Region.
>KalosTons of Pokemon from across the series. Every route and dungeon has unique encounters throughout the game. Central Kalos is mostly Grass/Bug/Fairy types, with the Berry Trees acting like the Honey Trees from Sinnoh. Coastal is where you get some of best Rock or Water Pokemon. Mountain is where you start to find "tough" or "scary" Pokemon; Ground, Dragon, Steel, Dark, Ghost. Overall nicely put together. Great for replays. Easier than ever to collect them all when trading with ORAS.
Kanto has seniority.
