Like, more speed and an actually good ability are all that he needs to be good (both in the official formats and the smogon ones), maybe just getting rid of 90% of his special movepool and replacing that with good moves like Recover / U-turn / Healing Wish, you name it.
I love this lil dude and really can't stand every fucking gen1 shitmon and <current gen> fotm shillmon / lucario and gardevoir getting good stuff every gen while he gets neglected.
