They don't have the knowledge to actually defend their games or the creativity to come up with any other methods to hide that fact. You can tell whenever they try to make another game loom bad it's either repetition of something that was said about Kalos (ex: the sinnoh post), a copy of a much older post (ex: most of the Unova spam), or complete obvious lies (ex: the Alola spam list)
Even their attempts at comparison images are usually based on something they heard recently and tried to twist into a win.

The Kalos region does not have fans on /vp/. What it has are Galarschizos falseflagging so they could shit on the 2D games more. They don't even like Kalos, and if you play your cards carefully you can get them to admit this in the same thread.

This is anon correct. Kalos/XY are a pawn used, by people who don't even like Pokemon (yet spend hours on /vp/ shilling the newer games), to shit on the games people actually like.
XY are just mediocre and lacking compared to what came before, while the truly bad games are what came after.

You're trying too hard. If anything at least blame the discord raiders if you're going to pretend they aren't Kalos fans desperately dragging down anything else to try to pull gen 6 up. Making up a Galar boogeyman just shows your desperation to get a quick scapegoat.

If Kalos had the same difficulty as BW2 it would be a pretty good gen, but alas the difficulty is so fucking easy that even despite having a huge tool option, bigger than any game that came before it, it's still only offers a bland experience.
I will never get over the fact that there still are plenty of important trainers in the mid to late game that still has pokemon without a full moveset.

If Kalos was harder, and it didn't lean so heavily on Kanto references, it would be an amazing experience. As it is, though, it's merely enjoyable. And no, I'm not blaming Kanto for Kalos deciding to just copy Viridian Forest 1-to-1, or for handing out a set of Kanto starters, or for having more Kanto legends in its dex than original ones. These are all Kalos's fault.
