>>50372423>that entire first chunkI don't give a shut, I never said Grassy Glide was perfect balance. Just that it being Grass type paired with its attributes was an obvious limiting factor that GF designed around.
You also seems to be under the impression that I think Grass is even in contention for on of the best types when it really isn't. I just don't think it's in running for one of the worst when types like Normal, Rock, Poison, and Ice struggle to get ANY significant representation in ANY format whereas Grass has it in spades.
>Groudon almost always run fire that is boosted under sun making the grass type a liability if you don't dynamax. Not only is this objectively false, with Fire Punch only having around a 51% usage rate compared to Precipice Blade's 97%, but that's just par for the course with mons that have coverage. Groudon is still incredibly threatened by the offensive Grass types in VGC due to Rillaboom's priority and outright OHKO potential and Venusuar's outspeeding, strong as fuck Solar Beams, and Sleep Powder basically putting it out of commission before it even gets to do anything. The way you're talking about these matchups as if they boil down to who gets to click the big shiny SE button makes me think you don't understand, let alone follow, VGC at all.
>Grass isn't a counter to water because water mons have all access to ice beam.Non-STAB Ice Moves rarely threaten OHKOs on the prevalent Grass Types in VGC though? Even from Kyogre's monstrous Sp.Atk unlesss it's running Choice Specs the only one it'll be consistently one-shotting is Whimsicott because Ferro is neutral to Ice and Rillaboom runs bulk and AssVest. Venusuar is also naturally bulky and run Focus Sash, but is threatened more than the others I'll admit
>Spore is also a boon that only grass mon have. But it doesn't make grass mons goodNever argues that, but it IS an advantage only member of the type have the chance of having, this, an inherent advantage
