They should have never let Ivysaur evolve. Or at least made Venusaur look more like OP's pic. Having the cute Ivysaur head, face, and body but with an open flower and mouth tentacles.

Gen1 Venusaur was like that. it had dark spots and sharper eyes like Ivysaur but Shitimori had to ruin it because of his "i make pokemon uncool to make them cool xDDD" philosophy

Gen 1 venusaur head sprite still looks more ugly and toad like than the cutie that is Ivysaur.
I hope when Venusaur gets a regional form it looks more like Ivysaur.

I love fat mons so I have no problem with Venusaur being fat.
My problem with Venusaur is the drugs/sleepy eyes and the warts instead of dark spots.
Ivysaur is just perfect.
