>>50378327Yeah I'm the same guy. All NM. Repeating the best tips for all anons in the thread:
1. Look for the high-gloss finish.
2. Use CTRL+Mouse wheel to zoom in full screen on a big monitor.
3. Stand up and view the monitor from different angles to reveal signs of scratches.
4. Look for interruptions in the way the light shines across the card. Is there fingernail dents (pic related)
5. The back of the card is usually a better way of quickly judging. If the back is fucked, then the front will be too
6. Look for dirt specks on the back of the card. Especially near the white areas of the pokeball. The white on the back should be PURE BRIGHT WHITE. If there's dirt specks on the back, or yellowing on the pokeball, Its already fucked.
7. Heavy ink is nice and it's one of the hidden factors grading companies use to judge cards Heavy ink and/or swirl can sometimes make up for a minor flaw
Some sellers dont have good cameras. (pic related japanese sellers have awesome cameras for some reason)
Some sellers also take pictures of their cards only in sleeves + top-loaders. So it's hard to judge the card itself
