It can’t have everything it wants all at once, and things it wants aren’t even available.
>Lacks in power if it doesn’t use Offensive Boosting items
>Lacks in bulk if it doesn’t use Heavy-Duty Boots due to being part Ice
>Sword Dancing once means that it will likely get only 1 really strong hit off before dying
>Chilling Neigh boosts are harder to keep stacking because it’s so fucking slow and it’s 100/130/110 bulk doesn’t make up for it being part Ice

Here's the issue. It has to compete with so much more threatening and powerful trick room mons. Also this horse can only really attack and only has SD to buff up and High Horsepower is a strictly worse EQ that isn't debuffed by Grassy Terrain. Has no access to Glacial Lance so it has to use Icicle Crash while Spectrier can abuse it's speed+Hex more.

The thing about saying "use Trick Room" is that having members on a TR team that are utter SHIT without TR up is bad. Most good TR mons at least can operate outside of it or have good resists when it's not out.

This thread basically highlights everything wrong with people who play these shit pseudo formats.

Game freak is clearly designing pokemon now to be usable in doubles formats. Evaluating a pokemon basis of 1v1 matchup is beyond the scope of the devs visions. Ofc a single pokemon has flaws by itself. Yeah 1v1 speed obviously fucking takes priority. In doubles, you have way more flexibility through teamwork.
