>>50381929I’m in Azalea town in my HG run rn and I just noticed that the doors here have a different sound effect. The attention to detail is phenomenal, there are a few things I prefer about the originals to HGSS, but HGSS really did Johto so fucking good man, the gorgeous graphics and tilesets + the sound effects for shit like running through grass/being next to water etc + following Pokémon with a massive pool of situational interactions all add so SO much to the immersive aspect. HGSS more than any other Pokémon game makes me feel like I’m simply living in the Pokémon world, can’t wait till I beat Whitney so I can train my bros for the pokeathlon
