That's unironically why I bought Red, it was a brand-new, unknown game for my povvo system, in the era when my peers got Playstations and Dreamcasts.
It was smooth brian-tiered difficulty vback then too, to anyone with a semi-developed brain (so any teenager much less ones half-way through their teens).
Point stands son. They keep it so easy, to ensure kids get FULLY invested in the brand, by finishing the game and getting the dopamine hit from beating the Champion.
