>>50395434>much for only three weaknesses.Because Steel was supposed to be a defensive type, which was balanced out by being weak against Fighting and Ground, two extremely good offensive types, along with Fire. Also it was balanced by being extremely lack luster offensive since it was only strong against two types before fairy came. Though now that fairy exists, steel should no longer be super effective against either rock or ice, since being good against the 3 types is way too much for what is supposed to be a defensive type.
