>>50397694Even Spain has an actual Pokemon game market with full scale localization, Russia does not.
If you showed a Switch console with an installed Pokemon game to your average Russian PC gamer, he would say "what a load of idiotic bullshit". PC gamers play Counter Strike and DOTA, they don't watch Pokemon, they would not be interested in it, they would dismiss a Pokemon game as "American bullshit".
Russia is a Philipines tier market, a Russian region would not even sell 1000 copies in Russia itself, piracy is everything, nobody buys official game stuff because it's seen as a "scam".
There is absolutely no profit in a Russian game, outside of Moscow and St Petersburg all there would be to adapt is poor alcoholic slum districts, drug addicted villages and unironic depressing gangster business, even schoolkids in Russia talk using the local gangster code.
Russia is absolutely unfitting for a Pokemon region and I hope it stays that way, Pokemon should remain a beautiful foreign fantasy and not be dirtied with the rough Russian realism THAT is not even profitable in any imaginable way.
